    Abstract

Traditional power production is undergoing radical change. In addition to traditional challenges -use of low-quality fuels, tightening of emission limits, striving for higher steam values - the power production system is now also influenced by the use of renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind energy. Modelling is a valuable tool for seeking and evaluating solutions to these questions.
