Modular production system concept for a water tap assembly

    Abstract

    An idea for a modular and flexible water tap assembly system is presented. In the assembly system there are modular independent workstations with local, distributed control. Flexibility is due to modularity, reconfigurability and expandability. The modular approach makes it easy to adjust for changes in production.
