    Abstract

Work package 4.1 - Multi-objective Sustainability Performance Requirements within Complex Integrated Product-Service Value Networks - aims at the development of governing framework for sustainability performance and provides the foundation for further work conducted in work package 4.2 (identification of sustainability performance indicators) and work package 4.3 (development of sustainability guidelines and definition of verification process). Providing the basis for multi-objective performance management, the performance framework developed in this report consists of three interlinked principal components: network conditions, structural elements, and triple bottom line assessment. The reason for this separation rests on the inherent challenges of measuring and managing the various key issues, including intangibles, in complex environments.
