Abstract
The use of different types of natural fibres as
reinforcement in polymer materials is a strongly growing
market area. Different fibre types, polymer matrices
(conventional and biodegradable polymers) and production
technologies are presented. The tailoring of the material
properties of natural fibre reinforced composites is
possible via several routes, out of which a few are
given.
