Abstract

Building construction is about transforming the vision and views of a client into a building where the client’s needs and objectives are met. This process comprises
many stages and phases, iterative activities, and can have large numbers of participants involved having massive information transfer and communication needs. Furthermore, the practical set up of the building construction processes can vary greatly from one project to another. A major reason for this is the technical differences between projects. Another main reason is the varying building construction skills, experience and knowledge of participants. This experience, skills and knowledge can vary greatly between different organizations involved and require special attention.
