    Abstract

There is an urgent need to detect onset of dementia as early as possible, before e.g. symptoms of cognitive decline become obvious. To this end, we need novel biomarkers that can easily be measured outside the clinical setting and are inexpensive to obtain. We have developed several low-cost measurements: a web-based test, games and gait analysis methods. Initial analysis results show that these measurements have potential value for earlier detection of dementia-related diseases.
