Abstract
The print quality attainable in an offset newspaper using a mixed production line consisting of heatset and regular offset units has been analysed with partly new quality criteria. A remarkably high quality was obtained compared to Scandinavian offset newspapers and European newspapers in general, which were also examined. The effect of the paper (LWC vs. regular offset paper) was particularly elucidated.
