Nordic Guidelines for reinforced soils and fills

These Nordic guidelines for strenghtened/reinforced soils and fills is published by the Geotechnical Societies in the Nordic countries and the Nordic Industrial Fund. The Nordic Geosynthetic Group (NGG) has initiated these guidelines. The group is organised by the Nordic Geotechnical Societies. NGG has been the project management group. The guidelines have been prepared by a project group. It has been financed by 29 organisations including the companies for the project group. The other organisations have been engaged in the reference group. The large reference group has been valuable to gain approval to the content in the guidelines. The book is only gives guidelines and the designers have full responsibility. Engineering judgement should be applied to determine when the recommendations are relevant to every specific object. The guideline is intended for engineers with experience of geotechnical works.
