Abstract
Tribology is a discipline that can be enjoyed in many ways. The tribologists of the Nordic Countries have found their own special way of doing it. They come together every second year somewhere in the North-European countryside – in the woods, at the lakes, by the shores, in the fjords or even out at sea – to a symposium called NORDTRIB. They invite friends from all over the world and together they present, analyse and discuss problems related to friction, wear and lubrication – and enjoy it!
