Abstract

These proceedings highlight the latest advances in the wood-based biorefining related R&D&I and form a "snapshot" of the state of the art today. The most discussed topics include lignin based products and sugars; wood fractionation, enzymatic hydrolysis, filtration, and extraction processes; Kraft pulping process integration; and lignin separation from spent cooking liquors.
