    Abstract

Enterprises face internal and external demands according to their field of business. For internal purposes, risk assessment provides essential information for the implementation of quality, environment and safety management systems. Authorities, shareholders and other stakeholders require information about the risks in the company's operations. Despite of these clear demands, risk assessment is seldom carried out and reported in efficient manner. The reason for this is that efficient and easy-to-use tools for risk assessment have not been widely applied. In this paper we present the concept of a web-based network for risk management, where the participants form an ecosystem. Towards the end of the paper we discuss the possibilities for success in the implementation of such a network, and creation of new e-Business possibilities with it.
