    Abstract

Hydrogenation of carbon dioxide in the presence of an iron catalysts yields a highly complex mixture of unsaturated and saturated hydrocarbons (C1-C20+), C1-C8+ oxygenates as well as water and carbon monoxide. The proportional share of various types of products and the overall conversion may vary greatly according to the catalyst used. Therefore, an accurate and fast on-line product analysis is necessary for efficient catalyst development. In this paper the authors report a tailored analytical system for CO2 hydrogenation product.
