Ontology based approach for home data management

Research output: Contribution to conferenceConference articleScientific

    Abstract

Context aware applications utilize environmental information which is usually collected by different sensors. For example, in smart homes environment’s embedded sensors provide such measurements of physical variables as temperature or lighting. However, the integration, interpretation and dissemination of context and sensor information are complex. This work describes the ontology based home management approach which facilitates integration, interactive visualization and necessary sharing of heterogeneous sensor and home data.
