    Abstract

In this work result of a pilot production of 28 mm x 28 mm size planar diffractive optical elements for backlight applications is reported. More than 1000 devices were manufactured by roll to roll nanoimprinting process into 375 micron thick and 50 mm wide PMMA web. Processing parameters such as temperature, pressure and printing speed were kept as low as possible to make a good replication but also to make long run possible.
