    Abstract

    Pulp&Paper sector could become a thriving combination of new and traditional activities by proactive transformation towards bioeconomy era. There is a need for new breakthrough technologies to achieve the targets set by Forest Fibre Industry 2050 Roadmap. These new breakthrough technologies should be ready for industrial use by 2030. In this paper we will bring up some new technologies and concepts, which will offer huge potential for the sector. We also promote a new way of working between research and industry to meet the future goals
