The present disclosure relates to O-methyltransferase enzymes. The present disclosure also relates to polypeptides having O-methyltransferase activity, recombinant vectors, host cells, and enzyme preparations thereof. The present disclosure also relates to a process for producing O-methylanthraquinones using O-methyltransferase enzymes as well as their use as pigments and dyes.
