    Abstract

Product Life Cycle Simulation has become a very interesting subject and the capability of handling the Life Cycle has become a strategic issue for companies in the manufacturing industry. This trend has been noticed within European Union and the possibilities it has given for the industry to keep up competitive in the global world market have not stayed unnoticed. Especially, the importance of studying the whole Life Cycle and all the phases in it has been widely noticed from sustainability point of view. The paper discusses various aspects of Product Life Cycle Simulation based on literature review and results of a project aimed at defining the contents and roadmap for this research area.
