Abstract
In connection with the 4th annual meeting of the Nordic Society for
Radiation Research and Radiation technology the symposium "Radiation and
Research" and "Radiation and technology" was held in Otaniemi, Finland, 20
21.8.1973.The symposium was arranged by the Technical Research Centre of
Finland (Statens Tekniska Forskningscentral) and sponsored by the following
institutions and firms: Ministry of Education, Oy Algol Ab, The Finnish Pulp
and Paper Research Institute, University of Helsinki, Department of
Radiochemistry, Technical University of Helsinki, The Finnish Plastics
Association, Technical Research Centre of Finland The organising committee for
the symposium consisted of the following persons: J.Kuusi, chairman, T.Autio,
E.Hasanen, F.Kommonen, J.K.Miettinen, E.Rotkirch, R.Rosenberg, scientific
secretary, T.Asanti, secretary.The invited papers and abstracts of the
original papers are published in these proceedings.
