Abstract

The ITU spectrum calculation methodology for the future development of IMT-2000 and IMT-Advanced includes input parameters which characterize the radio technology related issues of existing, emerging and future wireless systems. Radio related issues about IMT-Advanced for the spectrum calculation methodology are presented in Report ITU-R M.2074, where also ranged values for the radio parameters are proposed with some justification. The actual values for the radio parameters eventually used in the ITU spectrum requirement calculations are given in Report ITU-R M.2078.
