Abstract
Graphical user interfaces play a significant role in mobile devices. However, the suitable tool support has been lacking for more exotic or domain specific platforms. Agia is a Rapid Application Development (RAD) solution for Symbian C++. The solution consists of a graphical tool that generates user interface code and a framework that resides in the target device. In addition to supporting basic graphical user interface (GUI) creation Agia both defines new GUI concepts and introduces existing concepts to Symbian.
