Reduced FE model for active vibration control simulations in rotating machines

    Abstract

    A large FE model of an electric motor is reduced small enough for active vibration control simulations. The vibration of the rotor are controlled with feedfoeward and feedback controllers. Gyroscopic effects of the rotation of the rotor are also modelled.
