Abstract
The Technical Research Centre of Finland was the host of the assembly meeting on EuReDatA in October 1982. Together with the meeting a one day seminar was arranged with six papers on the same theme "Reliability data collection and validation". The first paper by the ex chairman of EuReDatA presents the present work of one of the EuReDatA projects "Reliability Data Acquisition and Validation". In the two following papers the data collection and statistical treatment of data from the diesel generator sets in the Nordic nuclear power plants are discussed. Also the fourth paper deals with diesels, but from the point of view of the human errors caused by testing and maintenance. The fifth paper is a description of the background, goals and operation of the Swedish ship owners data bank. The last paper describes the data collection work of a Swedish consult used in maintenance management systems.
