    Abstract

    Digitalization and Internet of Things (IoT) are the concepts that are becoming more and more famous in manufacturing industries. Digital innovations have been recognized as one of the main trends shaping the industrial economy and it is said to be a driving force for a fourth industrial revolution. Entire business model and operational model should be redefined for being successful and competitive in the future. The purpose of the paper is to discuss and define which kind of business and operational model manufacturer should have in the digital era.
