Abstract
Adaptive and reconfigurable radios have been seen a potential solution
to increase system performance and improve functionality. RF MEMS technology
is one of the most promising technologies for such systems. In addition to
high performance required in reconfigurable systems, RF MEMS technology can
also be easily scaled from handset applications to sub-millimeter wave
frequencies just by scaling physical dimensions. This presentation shows
latest advances of RF MEMS based reconfigurable circuits and sub-systems to be
used in several applications such as base stations, multi-functional radars
and adaptive radio links
