    Abstract

    This study deals with an optical road monitoring system. It is a road state measuring sub-system of the roadside traffic analysis unit, which supports situation awareness of in-vehicle systems and decision making by road authorities via V2I (Vehicle-to-Infrastructure) and V2V (Vehicle-to-vehicle) links.
