Abstract

This Guide is the product of the research project "Safety of Ammonia Refrigerating
Systems" sponsored by The Finnish Work Environment Fund, The Finnish Safety
and Chemicals Agency (Tukes), VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and
companies using or producing refrigerating systems. In the compilation of the
Guide, results from safety analyses of the refrigerating systems of the participating companies, expertise of the companies in refrigerating systems and that of
VTT in risk analyses were utilized.
