Abstract
Networking offers new opportunities for all parties
providing, retailing or using services. The specification
concepts of networking were evaluated in the EURESCOMM
P715 "EURESCOM Services Platform" project. The goal of
the project was to build a prototype platform utilizing
interoperability between tbe project partners and
demonstrating the interactions of the different roles and
applications. The project studied different
implementation techniques as well as software development
environments, like C++, Java, and CORBA.
