Abstract

This study aims to contribute to advancing the adoption of digital building permit processes. It considers this phenomenon an innovation implementation challenge and empirically investigates two research questions in five European countries: 1) What are the industry stakeholders' attitudes toward digital building permit processes? 2) What is the level of adoption of the digital building permit processes?
