Abstract
Temperature gradients were studied in two different pieces of density
calibration equipment. Density is determined by hydrostatic weighing in
water. The temperature of water and the surrounding air was determined
with six temperature sensors. Also density measurements with two
rectangular silicon prisms were performed. Density and temperature
measurements were made when the water container was open to atmosphere
and when it was closed.
