Abstract

The objective of this study is to outline the steps needed to enable and realize growth based on cellular agriculture in Finland. The study mapped the current state of cellular agriculture both in Finland and globally and examined the development of the operating environment in Finland and international markets. Furthermore, transition pathways connecting multiple actors were defined to root and promote cellular agriculture towards a sustainable and profitable future food system. Based on mappings, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and expert insights, concrete steps were established for Finland to integrate cellular agriculture into its national food system and unlock its growth potential.
