    Abstract

The presentation describes the testing technologies designed and applied in the Finnish national 5G test network. These combine use of various state-of-the art technologies for upcoming technologies such as internet of things, digital cloud-based services, network function virtualization and heterogeneous (5G) communication protocols. It integrates several testing and monitoring tools from a number of industrial parters, as well as several open source tools. An overall test automation control environment is used to control these different elements. Data is collected at large scale to form support for big data analytics from tests executed on the network. Techniques such as model-based testing are used to create user profiles for testing devices and services in the network.
