    Abstract

The commissioning of building performance is a systematic process which should start already at the pre-design phase and it should be continued through the design, construction and implementation phases into the actual use, operation and maintenance of the building. During the so-called Farm-Cx process, it should be checked that the needs and requirements of the owners and users are clearly documented and the indoor and energy performance requirements are really included in the owner's program. In addition, the process should be audited to make sure that the design solutions and installation outputs meet the given requirements. Finally, it should be verified by measurements that the farm building satisfies the prescribed indoor and energy requirements in use.
