Abstract

This thesis introduces MPLS-TP and highlights its relevant concepts such as OAM. A suitable platform is sought that allows easy implementation and experimentation of packet based networks. A simple MPLS-TP router is implemented using Click modular router (Click) software framework. The router is briefly evaluated to verify the usability of Click in networking development.
