Abstract
The ongoing research is developing a new kind of virtual working space called Modelling Factory, where individuals and organizations can test and share their ideas on how to advance material efficiency and circular economy by creating different types of computational models and solutions and to validate them against real provided scientific, industrial and environmental data. This study examines the business environment analysis and vision for the future ecosystem of the Modelling Factory and services offered through it. There are many viewpoints, which must be taken into account: the platform operator, user organizations and developers.
