Abstract

Collision cascade anisotropies have been studied by the binary collision lattice simulation code COSIPO in the specific case of single crystalline Cu bombarded with 5 keV Ar⁺ ions. In addition to various crystal orientations anisotropies in collision cascades turned out to be strongly dependent on the interaction potential.
The results will be discussed within the framework of focusing.
