The effect of focusing on collision cascade anisotropies

    Abstract

    Collision cascade anisotropies have been studied by the binary collision lattice simulation code COSIPO in the specific case of single crystalline Cu bombarded with 5 keV Ar+ ions. In addition to various crystal orientations anisotropies in collision cascades turned out to be strongly dependent on the interaction potential.
    The results will be discussed within the framework of focusing.
