Abstract

In this study, four different levels of oxygen enriched burning experiments in a hazardous waste incinerator were performed. The effect of the oxygen enriched burning on the throughput of the incinerator and on the formation and emission of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDD) and dibenzofurans (PCDF), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB), chlorinated benzenes, chlorinated phenols, and nitrogen oxides (NOx) were evaluated.
