Abstract

This report explains the current enablers and hindrances for BIM-based building LCA in the Nordic countries and Estonia. It also reports the building LCA and BIM practices and the constraints and enablers for harmonising building LCA.

The report also presents the benefits for harmonising building LCA reporting in the Nordics.

The report is developed by VTT and Granlund in our work package on Nordic Harmonisation of LCA, which is led by the Finnish Ministry of Environment.
