Abstract

In the P-Innovations project, an innovative concept for automated parking management and control was developed and piloted. The motivations of introducing advanced car park control and service concepts are to provide parking customers with better service while automating control and guidance systems. The innovations are directly brought on to practical level by piloting them in real car park environment at Tampere, Finland. The intermediate results of the ongoing pilot state that the concept is both viable and welcome. Thus, the concept will be further developed by the project partners.
