    Abstract

In this work plasma spraying (Direct Write Thermal Spray) method was used to fabricate niobium-doped strontium titanate and calcium cobaltate thermoelectric oxides. Plasma spraying is coating technique in which metal or ceramic powders are sprayed on selected substrate. Prepared samples have a lamellar texture which is composed of solidified and flat material droplets (splats). Direct Write Thermal Spray enables thermoelectric module fabrication straight onto the substrate material with desired module design.
