Abstract
The scope of the seminar was to provide an interdisciplinary forum for
exchange of information and experiences in the field of nuclear waste
management.The highlights of the seminar focused on the following topics:
overall reviews, waste products, nearfield phenomena, site investigations,
performance assessment and decommissioning.All together 20 papers were
presented.Reviews, status reports and experimental studies dealt with general
research programs and current research and development activities including
regulatory aspects.Extensive discussions provided an opportunity to identify
issues and options for further research.
