Abstract
The publication is the first of four volumes on the proceedings of the
Third International Conference on the Durability of Building Materials and
Components.The aim of the Conference is to contribute to the definition and
improvement of knowledge on durability in order to promote action concerned
with the prediction of service life of non-metallic building materials and
components, and to promote interactions among the various disciplines
involved.The volume includes the papers concerning the service life of
building materials and components, the economic aspects of durability, design
for durability, and environmental factors affecting service life, effects,
measurement and classification.
