Abstract
We depend more and more deeply on a complex web of
interdependent communications networks - in particular
the Internet. We need to be aware of the risks that this
dependence entails and find the best ways to cope with
them. To investigate this challenge, VTT has accomplished
a series of research projects in collaboration with
Finnish industrial and governmental partners and
academic colleagues from Norway, Italy and Poland.
