Funding
The paper is based on the results of Reboot Finland IoT Factory and SEED projects partly funded by Business Finland. Reboot Finland IoT Factory ecosystem aims to solve the grand challenges of digitalization in manufacturing industry, leading to improved productivity. The purpose is to go beyond low-hanging fruits and achieve business benefits by leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and introducing new service-based business models. These challenges cannot be solved by one partner alone but require a critical mass and variety of partners such as factories, SMEs and research organizations, that is, implementing the triple helix format is necessary (Khan et. al., 2020).
