Research output: Contribution to conferenceConference articleScientific

    Abstract

Asset management aims at increasing and/or maintaining the long-term value of the infrastructure, equipment and machinery that an organisation owns and/or uses. Sustainability demands and circular economy models set challenges and opportunities for this task. Asset management literature has so far paid only little attention to circular economy. This paper presents a framework for supporting asset management decisions related to circular economy models. Design science approach is utilized in the development and testing of the framework. The framework is a part of the dissertation work that aims at supporting organization's strategic asset management by holistic decision support systems that take into account the perspectives of sustainability and circular economy.
