Abstract
Calibration methods for PTP are presented that eventually will be qualified as Calibration and Measurement Capabilities (CMC) and consequently describe a NMI’s capability to calibrate PTP networks or endpoints. The methods are currently geared towards the PTP profiles used for digital substation environments but can also be useful for calibration of other timing protocols such as NTP.
