Abstract
This paper examines the implementation and impact of a tram warning service within the IN2CCAM* project. The service aims to enhance the interaction between automated shuttles and trams in urban settings. By utilizing real-time data and standardized C-ITS messages, the service preventsautomated shuttles from obstructing trams, thereby improving traffic flow and safety. Our analysis of key performance indicators demonstrates a notable reduction in shuttle-induced tram delays.
