Abstract

The effect of lipase treatment on the lipophilic extractives present in unbleached TMP water and pulp was evaluated. Furthermore, the impact of lipase treatment on paper sheet properties was determined. Lipase treatment increased the strength properties, but did not affect the optical properties.
