Abstract
Triple-band, platform insensitive planar inverted F-antenna solution for radio frequency identification (RFID) is introduced. Triple-band operation is achieved with only two resonant elements exploiting the highly capacitive input impedance of the RFID microchips leading to a small-sized structure. Due to triple-band operation and platform insensitive impedance characteristics the antenna is applicable in many different environments and on different continents.
