Abstract

The concepts, Trust, Risk, Privacy and Security, are widely used in various studies done by multiple disciplines, and they are often incorrectly referred to almost as synonyms. The aim is to clarify the concepts from the consumer viewpoint in e-commerce. The findings of our qualitative study suggest several relationships between the four concepts and serves as building blocks for further research.
