Abstract
New environmental regulations and “green” investors push to reduce emissions from medium speed marine engines to the low levels introduced for non-road machinery engines. To this end, the DZC engine family from Anglo Belgian Corporation was combined with a Hug Engineering diesel particulate filter and a selective catalytic reduction system yielding unprecedented ultra-low emissions and confrmed to pass EU Stage V certifcation when running on diesel fuel.
